i think only burberry can make me re-think my stance on winter and make me consider that its not that bad after all.. burberry aw 10 was streamed live on tuesday and even in 3D in some places around the world. i wish i was cool enough to be invited to london fashion week shows! my only highlight from the week is that i swear i saw lily donaldson on the tube! or someone that looked exactly like her anyway...

the clone wars

so somewhere in east london a few nights ago acne launched its fall 2010 RTW line. acne designer jonny johnson said he was inspired by star wars clone droids. amazing. my favourite are the ankle bangles! genius! if you have walked into an acne store you would have been mesmerized by the white walls and clean lines and amazed by the beautiful shapes and fabrics. i went into an acne store in berlin once and fell in love.

so i decided that if im not crazy in love like my friend and enjoying some blissful honeymoon like they are right now on the australian east coast, i should at least have an amazing scented candle. i feel better now

this will be.. an everlasting love

so while i was in australia soaking up the sunshine and getting killer sunburn, i attended a really beautiful wedding of one of my close friends. now i am sort of bitter and mean about couples, public displays of affection, love, and all things generally soppy and romantic. but this wedding kind of changed me. i think what got me is the way the grooms face looked as she walked down the aisle. or as they were dancing to their first song, they stumbled and so instead he just picked her up and spun her around the dance floor. it was the huge grin that never left my friends face all day. and it made me jealous, happy and sad all at the same time
