while i was in london i went to the grace kelly exhibition at the V&A. she is so breath-takingly beautiful it hurts your eyes.

things i like

things i like: kitten, london, russh, wearing a big hat while reading books in venice, lady and the tramp, the olsen twins, the brooklyn bridge, sweetheart collars, my girl, pretty things for my bathroom.

canal st

wah. why is it that you always find out about all these amazing things AFTER you have left a city? i have recently read about the the sandwich barge which wanders its way along the london canals selling freshly made organic sandwiches, cakes, muffins and soups! and in august its stopping at the broadway markets! my favourite saturday morning hang out. i love new york, but i sure do miss london. 

high lines

i have spent the last two days wandering along the high line. it is a stretch of abandonded above ground railway tracks that have been turned in to a nature walk. it is so beautiful and well kept, with the colours of the flowers and leaves complementing each other so well. 

best things: reading my book on wooden sun bed, or popping down the steps half way to grab some food from the chelsea markets, or watching the street traffic below. also when adele and i spied a couple having sex in the apartment above the walk way. hahaha.

tonight i went and saw a bout de souffle (breathless) at the film forum in NEW YORK! oh i love jean seberg. i don't think i have ever seen a prettier face.

oh its so so sad. how taylor momsen thinks she is being hilarious and ironic by wearing stripper heels with tips jars. but no honey, no. YOU ARE 16. oh god.

there is no place like home, there is no place like home

i am leaving london town for new york on monday! i am in new york for eight days, which is not long enough, but its all i can afford :( but i was wondering if anyone is reading this blog, do you have any new york suggestions? where do i HAVE to go, what shops are worth spending all my money in, and where can i get a good coffee?!

and then after new york i am heading to...

la la land. i have heard bad things, but my round the world trip wouldn't let me go to san fran. adele and i might see if we can get the bus there and stay for a few days. after five days in LA, we are off to...

hawaii! yay. only for three days to lay around on the beach and get tan and have massages and manicures, so i will arrive back feeling EXCELLENT. then i will be here..
